Come out and meet your neighbours with our first-ever Island-wide community BBQ — an event we hope to make an annual occasion! Free hot dogs, burgers and soft drinks/water to Island residents as well as those within Starr’s Beach area (just off Cottage Road).

Location: Washburn Park (behind the Pump House at 22 Verna Dr.)

Date: Saturday, August 23rd (note: rain date is August 24th)

What to expect: Bring your own lawn chairs. Parking is exceptionally limited, so a taxi service will be available island-wide on the day of the BBQ to shuttle folks to/from the event. If parking on Verna Rd. or Island View Dr., please make sure not to block any neighbour’s driveways.
